‘The Road Dance’ has been reviewed in the New York Times.
It wasn’t a great review. In fact, it wasn’t very kind at all, but hey, it’s the New York Times. Nobody needs to know the details.
The Boston Herald liked it. “When you aren’t mesmerized by the candlelit interiors or the waves breaking on the cliff bottoms captured by cinematographer Petra Korner, you almost get swept away by the dramatics of MacKay’s novel…”
So did the Illinois Times. “The Road Dance manages to defy expectations, eschewing genre conventions to deliver a rich, moving portrait of perseverance.”
And it’s been well reviewed in plenty of other U.S. papers and websites.
This flood of reviews has come from the release of ‘The Road Dance’ in selected American theatres and on streaming sites.
And the reviews from the American audience have been good on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes.
Who needs the New York Times?
