events ahead of the film release

Things are beginning to move fast ahead of the general release of The Road Dance film on 20th May.

First up, there’ll be a new edition of The Road Dance novel released on the 1st of May to tie in with the movie. The new cover features scenes from the film. Available from www.luath.co.uk, bookstores and online, the ISBN number you’re looking for is 9781910022979.

I’ll be appearing at the Aye Write Festival on Sunday 15th May at 1830 to talk about the book and the film.  Some of the cast will join by video link. Early in May I’m looking forward to some special screenings of The Road Dance on Isle of Lewis. Details will be coming shortly.

And at the end of this month, The Road Dance will be the opening film for the Nottinghham International Film Festival, which will include a pre-recorded Q&A with director Richie Adams and cast Hermione Corfield, Mark Gatiss & Will Fletcher https://www.nottiff.com/feature-films-2022/the-road-dance

And, of course, the film won the Jury Award at the recent Manchester International Film Festival.
